We have demonstrated our continued commitment to our colleague wellbeing. When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, we closed all of our offices and we stopped all non-essential work being carried out in our customers’ homes.
We recruited a PPE Manager to ensure that our frontline staff were safe whilst working, and our Health, Safety and Wellbeing team workedclosely with managers to ensure appropriate risk assessments were in place.
We offer online HIIT physical training and yoga classes, plus wellbeing classes covering practical nutrition, meditation, and mindfulness. Colleagues have access to Reward Gateway’s“Wellbeing Centre” on ROAR, our colleague benefits portal, which supports colleague physical, mental and financial wellbeing via an abundance of tools, advice, and education.
Abri run a quarterly engagement survey for all colleagues which includes questions aboutcolleague wellbeing. Responses are anonymous but managers are encouraged to respond to individual comments and to create action plans based on the overall department results. Wehave trained mental health first aiders, known as Wellbeing Ambassadors, whose details arepublished on our intranet for colleagues to review at any time. We have the ‘8 dimensions ofwellness’ on our Sharepoint site which includes advice, videos and articles for colleagues ontopics such as mental, physical, spiritual, financial and wellbeing.
Abri engage with an independent Occupational Health provider who review pre-employment health questionnaires and advises on colleague health referrals when required. We also havean Employee Assistance Programme which is available 24/7 to support colleagues with a varietyof issues including health, financial and emotional issues.
The average sick days taken by staff is 5.8 per annum.
